The map is engraved on natural maple, which means it has a light colored wood grain. Although we try to use unblemished pieces, maps might have small knots or imperfections since they are engraved on real wood.
Since the maps are cut and engraved with a laser, they will have a pleasant campfire smell that will dissipate in time.
